Today, we will discuss about Abd ar-Rahman Ibn Auf, one richman and generous shahaba at Propeth Muhammad Shallahu Alaihi Wasallam s Era. He is one shahaba who popular with his rich and generousity at this era. This assets, used for hep Islamic Struggle. Abd ar-Rahman Ibn Auf, is one Propeth Muhammad Shallahu Alaihi Wasallam s Shahaba who first convert to Islam. He is came from Mecca, Saudi Arabia. He born at 581 AD. His father named Auf Ibn Abd Manaf and his mother named as-Shifa binti Auf. 

He convert to Islam two days after Abu Bakr as-Shidiq convert to Islam. And, he get several tortured from Pagan Quraish, such as several shahabas.  He join Propeth Muhammad Shallahu Alaihi Wasallam and his shahabas for moved to Medina at 622 AD.  When Propeth Muhammad Shallahu Alaihi Wasallam make brotherhood from his shahabas from Muhajirin ( imigrants from Mecca) and Anshar ( Propeth Muhammad Shallahu Alaihi Wasallam s Shahabas from Medina). Abd ar-Rahman  brotherhood with Saad Ibn Rabi, one Propeth Muhammad Shallahu Alaihi Wasallam from Anshar.

Saad Ibn Rabi,  said to Abd ar Rahman that he has many gardens and two wife. Saad  offer Abd ar-Rahman to married his one wife and take one from his gardens. But, Abd ar-Rahman Ibn Auf only pray may Allah Subhanahuwataala bless Saad s assets and Saad s family and he only ask Saad show him way to market for trade. Saad show Abd ar-Rahman way to market and Abd ar-Rahman go to trade at this place. 

Abd ar-Rahman fight with Propeth Muhammad Shallahu Alaihi Wasallam at two battle, Battle Of Badr at 624 AD and Battle Of Uhud at 625 AD againt Pagan Quraish Forces.  At Battle Of Badr, he kill one Pagan Quraish s Warrior, Umayr Ibn Uthman Ibn Kaab at-Taimiy.  And, at Battle Of Uhud, he show amazing strenghth. When Muslims Army forced by Pagan Quraish Army at this battle. But, Abd ar Rahman defend at his postion when many Muslims Army escaped from this battle. At this battle, Abd ar Rahman get 20 wounds from enemy s swords. 

According Rafat Basya, one Syrian Historian, Abd ar-Rahman struggle with assets more than hs struggle at the battle. One day, Propeth Muhammad Shallahu Alaihi Wasallam prepare army and said to his shahabas: “ give alms, because i will send a army. Abd ar-Rahman give to Propeth Muhammad Shallahu Alaihi Wasallam 4000 from his money and leave 2000 for his family.

At 630 AD, happened Battle Of Tabuk, Byzantine Emperor, Heraclius collect his army that consist from Byzantine Army and also Arabian Tribes at Syria that is Byzantine Empire s territories , such as Lakhm, Judham, Ghassanids, and Amila. They want attack Medina, Propeth Muhammad Shallahu Alaihi Wasallam s basic goverment. . Propeth Muhammad Shallahu Alaihi Wasallam collect cavalry for doing reply attack to Syria.  Many richmen at Medina give alms for cost for this expedition. Abd ar-Rahman, at this battle, give alms with all his assets, according Rafat Basya 200 Uqiyah from gold . At Battle Of Tabuk, Abd ar-Rahman became Muslim Army Leader when Muslims Army pray.  Not happened confrontation beetwen Muslims and Byzantine Army. Byzantine Army leave their postion  Balqa, Jordan.  After die of Propeth Muhammad Shallahu Alaihi Wasallam at 632 AD, he sufficient Propeth Muhammad Shallahu Alaihi Wasallam s wifes s life. Abd ar-Rahman, according Writer Rahma I Harbani, has 6 trillion assets. He die at 32 H, at 72 years old, May Allah Subhanahuwataala bless him.
