Siyar Alam an-Nubala, is one main refrences at Islamic History that discuss Islamic Historical Figures biography. At Indonesian Language, i have   2 versions of Siyar Alam an-Nubala. Full version that published  by  Azzam  Publisher and consist of 36 volumes. And also , version of al-Kautsar Publisher that is concised edition that concised by DR.Sulayman al-Ashqar and published with title Siyar Alam an-Nubala: Mutiara Kisah Pilihan Orang-orang Cemerlang Dalam Sejarah Islam that published at 2019 AD.  Edition that published by al-Kautsar Publisher is concise edition that consist of 770 pages. This is maybe match for people who busy and maybe dont have many time for read long literature.

And, full version from Azzam Publisher, maybe need patient for read it. Because consist of 36 volumes.  I have 4 volumes from Azzam Publisher Edition.  First and second volume discuss about biography of Propeth Muhammad Shallahu Alaihi Wasalam from before his birth until his die and also Propeth Muhammad Shallahu Alaihi Wasallam s character. Third volume discuss Rashidun Caliphate Era from Caliph Abu Bakr as-Shiddiq s era until Caliph Ali ibn Abi Thalib s era. ( 632-661 AD) and, fourth volume discuss about biography of several Propeth Muhammad Shallahu Alaihi Wasallam s shahabas.

First volume, consist of 780 pages, second volume, consist of 956 pages. Third voume, consist of  491 pages. And,  fourth volume, consist of 612 pages.  Plus value from this book, is this book not discuss Islamic History with narrative chronology, such as other history book, but serve us biography Islamic Figures at history. And, it is written by comprehensive written. Until, when read about Propeth Muhammad Shallahu Alaihi Wasallam s biography at first and second volume, we not only find about character of Propeth Muhammad Shallahu Alaihi Wasallam.  Such as Propeth Muhammad s character and his private stuff, such as his grail, slipper, socks , and other and also story of Propeth Muhammad Shallahu Alaihi Wasallam s picture that saved at Syria by several Abrahamic Faith adherent . It is unique, because Muslims forbid make picture about Propeth Muhammad Shallahu Alaihi Wasallam. At third volume, we also find notes about who die at age of one caliph.
