Cem: Ottoman Rebel Who Die At Europe.

Today, we will discuss about one Ottoman Rebel who die at Europe. He rebel to Ottoman Empire for get sultanate throne, but failed until he forced escape to Europe and Egypt. Until, he die at Europe. And, this rebel doesnt originated from ordinary people. But, he is son from Mehmed II  Al-Fatih, one Greatest Ottoman Sultan. Cem is second son from Mehmed II. At 1481 AD, when Mehmed II die, Ottoman Throne handled by his older brother, Bayezid II Veli. But, Cem who became Governor Of Karaman under Ottoman Empire tried to captured Ottoman Throne from his older brother. 

Bayezid and Cem fight at one battle at Yenisehir and Cem defeated. He escaped to Egypt that at this time under Mameluke Sultan, Qaitbay. Cem and his family went to Egypt and when Cem stay at Egypt, at Cairo, Mameluke Capital,. Qaitbay received Cem and it is became factor from Ottoman-Mameluke Conflict at Battle Of Cuqurova  at 1485 AD. But , Sultan Of Tunisia, Abu Zakariya Yahya can  mediate this conflict at 1491 AD. Bayezid also send Cem letter for get  income from Karaman Province, if he doesnt rebel to Ottoman Empire. And, Cem can stay at Jerusalem, Palestine if he received this. But, Cem next his rebellion and he went to Ottoman Territories at Europe for provocated rebellion to Bayezid. He ask helped to Crusader Knight at Rhodes ( Knight Of Hospitaller) under De Aubusson. Cem get protection from De Aubusson and King Of France, Charles VIII want used Cem to war againt Ottoman Dynasty. Pope,  also used this chance for split Ottoman Empire. 

According Islamic History and Research Team Of Egypt, Bayezid II doesnt has  firmness for faced Cem. He prioritzing peace. 

King Of France , Charles VIII, want to use Cem for fight againt Ottoman Empire  that have center at Istanbul and Papal State at Rome. At 1495 AD, Pope poisoned Cem until Cem die. Before his die, Cem said he want burried at Islamic Land  because he doesnt permit his body to claim one territories . Bayezid II send messenger to Naples at May 1495 AD and ask King Of France submit Cem s body. Cem rejected it and at February 1496 AD, Bayezid II send messenger to King Of France for second time. And, at this time , Pope ask King Of Naples for submit this body to him and he will sell this body to Ottoman Empire with prize 50.000 gold chips. At 1498 AD, Sultan Bayezid II send messenger to King Of Naples for submit Cem s body with threatment Ottoman Empire will captured Coastal Of Italia if Cem s body dont submited to him. King Of Naples give Cem s body to Bayezid II and Cem s body burried at Bursa, Turkey.

After Cem s die, Bayezid II expand Ottoman Territories to Bogdan, East Europe and also doing expedition to againt Kingdom Of Castille , for save Muslim at Spain that oppresed by Christian Kingdom Of Castille and Bayezid also expand Greece and Lehistan Territories.
