Sir Sayyid Ahmad Khan: First Muslim Modern Scholar At India.

Today, we will discuss about first Muslim Modern Scholar at India, Sir Sayyid Ahmad Khan, who became pioneer from Islamic Modernization at India. And, he has service build University Of Aligarh at India for first modern university at India. How his struggle became pioneer from Islamic Modernization at India? Sayyid Ahmad Khan, born at 1817 AD at Delhi, from Moghul s dynasty nobleman and he still descedant from Propeth Muhammad Shallahu Alaihi Wasallam from Propeth Muhammad Shallahu Alaihi Wasallam s grandson, Hussain. His father,  Mir Muttaqi, work to British Colonialist at India. He work at one British Company, East Indian Company ( EIC). Sayyid Ahmad Khan, studied at one Madrasah ( Islamic Traditional School) at India and get Islamic Traditional Education. But, when he grown to tenageer age, he work to EIC. When he work to EIC, he read many literature at English Language and he often held discussion with his Muslim Friends at India.  He held discussion about scientific topic. 

When Rebellion Of India 1857 AD, he  favors to British Colonial Goverment, and he argue Muslims at India dont have reason for rebel to British Colonial Goverment because British Colonial Goverment dont forbid Muslims to worship. He write his argument at his book: Causes Of The Indian Revolts. 

At 1874 AD, Sayyid Ahmad went to London, Great Britain and became writter at London. Many People at London respect to him. And, he get honour  title from Kingdom Of British, Sir. 

One day, Sir Sayyid Ahmad Khan get news that several British People write biography book about Propeth Muhammad Shallahu Alaihi Wasallam that contained  insult. Answering this, Sayyid Ahmad Khan write biography about Propeth Muhammad Shallahu Alaihi Wasallam that straighten insult from several British People.Though, he forced return to India after his money exhausted.

At India, Sir Sayyid Ahmad Khan tried to make Islam as ideology that sincront with modern  thought. He said, Muslims must think free from mythology and  superstition. According Sir Sayyid Ahmad Khan s thought, Islam must interpreted by rationatility and Muslims must foccuss to social charity, such as help other people, and flow their skill for social business. 

He also build scientific community at City Of Aligarh, India that held several college that flow Muslims skills at European Knowledge.  This community, flow to University Of Aligarh. University Of Aligarh,  held college at Islamic Traditional Lessons, such as religion lessons and also held college at academic knowledge , such as chemistry, biology,and other.

According Historian Tamim Ansary, University Of Aligarh became beginning from State Of Pakistan . Because several students from University Of Aligarh, became pioneer from Secular Revolution that birth from Islamic State Of Pakistan. 

Sir Sayyid Ahmad Khan, die at 1898 AD, he have big role to shape modern Muslim Society at India and Pakistan. May Allah bless him.
