Umar Al-Mukhtar: Libyan Indepedence Hero.

Today, we will discuss about Umar Al-Mukhtar, one Libyan Indepedence Hero who defend Libya from Italian Colonization. He is one Guerilla Hero at his age. Umar Al-Mukhtar, life at end of 19 TH Century until 20 TH Century.  He born  beetwen 1856-1862 AD. His father, is Bedouin Man at Libya, North Africa . He is Al-Mukhtar Ibn Umar and his mother is Aisha binti Muharrib. One day, Al-Mukthar invited Aisha visit Kaba at Mecca, Saudi Arabia. Al-Mukhtar die at journey and Umar, at this time was still child.

At end of 19 TH Century, Umar Al-Mukhtar moved to Chad, Central Africa to help Muslim People at Chad fight againt France s Colonization. At Chad, Umar also became Islamic Teacher and invited many people to convert to Islam. 

At 1911 AD, State Of Italia attack Libya that at this time, is Ottoman Empire s territories. Umar s homeland. Umar back to Libya and he lead Libyan s Fighters to attack Italian Colonizers.  Umar and Libyan Fighters attack Italian Troops until many Italian Troops die at tbis battle. Leader Of Italia, Mussolini send General Graziani for attack Libya. General Graziani doing genocyde to Libyan Peoples.

Graziani attack Muslims at City Of Kufra with bomb and Italian Army rapped many Muslim Womens. And, they kill Muslim Civilians with throw them from hight place until they fall and their head destroyed.  At Tripoly, Libya, Italians Army burn many Libyan Civilians. This battle , is part from Italian-Ottoman War 1911-1912 AD.  According Historian Philip.K.Hitti, Tripoly is last Ottoman post at North Africa. And, Tripoly is one important coastal for Ottoman Empire.  Ottoman Empire, according Ottoman Historian Prof.DR.Mehmet Maksudoglu, Ottoman Army also make army for defended Libya.  According Maksudoglu, Ottoman Commander, Rajab Pasha was make army that consist from 5000 Army  from Turks-Libyan Descedenats who became Ottoman Army and also volunteer from Libyan Natives.

According Egypt Islamic Study and History Team, Libyan  Fighters who fight againt Italian Colonizations are members from Sanusids Sufism Group. Umar Al-Mukhtar, is leader from Sanudsids Sufism Group. King Of Libya, at this time is Muhammad Idris As-Sanusi, who also originated from Sanusids Sufism Group.

At 1912 AD, Ottoman Empire  under Sultan Abdul Hamid II make covenant with State Of Italia and give Italia Libya Territories. Umar and his fighters, alone faced Italian Colonizers.

Libyan Fighters under Umar Al-Mukhtar, fight againt Italians Army. They make basic at Desert Of Libya and they make many trapped for trap Italians Army. Umar Al-Mukhtar, split his time for fight and worship. Umar read Koran (Islamic Holy Book) until end and he only sleep max.2-3 hours at the day. One day,  at 1931 AD, Umar Al-Mukhtar  fall at Libya Desert and he captured by Italians Army. Graziani, meet Umar Al-Mukhtar at his cantor. Graziani ask several questions to Umar Al-Mukhtar, such as why he againt Govement Of Italia? Umar answer he fight againt Goverment Of Italia because Goverment Of Italia colonized State Of Italia. 

Graziani ask Umar to command his Libyan Fighters for submit. But, Umar rejected it. General Graziani, executed die Umar Al-Mukhtar. Umar Al-Mukhtar die at 1931 AD.  May Allah bless him.
