Amr Ibn Jamuh: One Difabel Shahaba Who die at Battle Of Uhud.

Today, we will discuss about one shahaba who has difability , Amr Ibn Jamuh who die at Battle Of Uhud when protect Propeth Muhammad Shallahu Alaihi Wasallam. Amr Ibn Jamuh, is one shahaba who convert to Islam at his old age, after he became enemy from Religion Of Islam that spread by Propeth Muhammad Shallahu Alaihi Wasallam. Amr Ibn Jamuh, at Pre Islam age, is one chief from one Tribes at Medina, Saudi Arabia, Bani Salama. He also  generous man at Medina. He life at 7 TH Century. Amr, has one idol for worship at his house. According Syrian Historian Abdurrahman Rafat Basya, from traditions at this age, Arabian Pagan Chiefs has private idol at his house. Amr, has idol named Manat. He give parfume to his idol and keep his idol. Amr, also one difabel at Medina. One from his leg is limp.

At 620 AD, Islamic Preach that spread by Propeth Muhammad Shallahu Alaihi Wasallam at Mecca, Saudi Arabia,  spread to Medina. Several people of Medina, from Tribes Of Khazraj meet Propeth Muhammad Shallahu Alaihi Wasallam at Ukaz, Saudi Arabia and invited him to stay at Medina. With hope, Propeth Muhammad Shallahu Alaihi Wasallam can became mediator at confict beetwen Tribe Of Aws and Khazraj at Medina. One Islamic Preacher, Mushab Ibn Umayr can entered Medina and preach at Medina. Amr s wife, Hindun convert to Islam, followed by Amr s sons: Muawwidh, Muadh, and Khallad. Muadh Ibn Umair, can changed religion that adherent by People Of Medina to Islam by his preach.  Amr s sons, are friend from Propeth Muhammad Shallahu Alaihi Wasallam s shahaba, Muadh Ibn Jabal.  At 622 AD, Propeth Muhammad Shallahu Alaihi Wasallam moved to Medina with his followers that according Historian Philip.K.Hitti numbered 200 followers and it is strengthen Islamic Postion at Medina. 

Amr Ibn Jamuh angry hear this. He ask Hindun about preach of Mushab that make his sons convert to Islam. Amr, also call Muadh and ask Muadh what said by Mushab at his preach. Muadh read first part from Koran ( Islamic Holy Book), QS.Al-Fatiha 1-7 and also invited his father convert to Islam. At this time, Amr still reject for convert to Islam because he said he will consultate with Manat, his idol. Until, Muawwidh, Muadh and Khallad doing unique method for preach to their father. They for many times throw Manat to hole of  dirt from Tribes Of Salama. Until, Amr Ibn Jamuh aware his idol cannot doing something. After this, Amr Ibn Jamuh convert to Islam.

At 625 AD, broke Battle Of Uhud beetwen Muslim Army from Medina that lead by Propeth Muhammad Shallahu Alaihi Wasallam and Pagan Quraish Army from Mecca that lead by Abu Sufyan.Amr Ibn Jamuh  prepare himself for faced this battle. At this battle, Propeth Muhammad Shallahu Alaihi Wasallam injured until many Muslims Army escaped from the battle. 

At this battle, Amr lead Muslim Army from Tribe Of Salama. When Muslims Army escaped from the battle because forced by Pagan Quraish, Amr and his son, Khallad protect Propeth Muhammad Shallahu Alaihi Wasalam, until they die at battle that became defeated for Muslims Army. 

Die Of Amr, became proof that Amr s difability dont blocking his spirit to fight for Islam. Though his life at Islam only soon, he was sacrified his self for Islamic Honour. May Allah Subhanahuwataala bless him and his family.
