Wasallam. He is one strange younger who
doesnt meet with Propeth Muhammad Shallahu Alaihi Wasallam. But get praise from
Propeth Muhammad Shallahu Alaihi Wasallam. Ok, lets read this article until end

Uways al-Qarni, is one Yemeni Younger at 7
TH Century. He born at 593 AD. And , he is younger with hairpiece disease. His
mother, is old and paralyzed woman. But, Uways so devoted to his mother. One
day, his mother want doing Hajj ( pilgrim to Mecca for Muslims). His mother
said it to Uways. Uways confused. He is poor man and he doesnt has anything for
went to Mecca. Journey from Yemen to Mecca, Saudi Arabia . But, Uways used his
clever. He buy one calf and used his
calf for training.
All day, Uways bring his calf for climb hill. Until, people said that Uways
is crazy. And, when time of Hajj came, Uways can pick up his mother at his back
for went to Mecca. From Yemen to Mecca,
Uways walk with his feets with pick up his mother for doing Hajj. And, when
they at Kabah, Uways pray to Allah for forgive all his mother s mistakes. His
mother ask question to him: “How with your mistake “?. Uways said: “By Allah
forgive s mother s mistakes, mother will entered heaven and enough with mother
s bless, i will entere heaven”
Propeth Muhammad Shallahu Alaihi Wasallam,
know Uways though Uways doesnt meet with
Uways. One day, Propeth Muhammad Shallahu Alaihi Wasallam ask his shahaba, Umar
Ibn Khattab for ask pray from Uways. Until Caliph Umar became second caliph of
Rashidun Caliphate ( ruled 634-644 AD), he ask to people when time of Hajj about Uways al-Qarni. But, one
man at this event said, Uways is so introvert and he isolated himself at
badhouse. Caliph Umar ask this people search Uways and Uways prepared to meet
Umar. Umar give greetings for Uways and Umar deliver Propeth Muhammad Shallahu
Alaihi Wasallam s command to him for ask Uways s pray. And, Uways pray for Umar
and after this , Uways keep isolated himself.
According Persian Historian Abu Qasim al Naysaburi, Uways is
introvert man. Abu Qasim tell about one man, Harim Ibn Hayyan al-Abdi who visit
Uways who at this time, was sit at edge from Eupharate River and wash his
clothes. At this time, Harim and Uways talk for several times. And, at this
event also Uways said he doesnt want became judge, Muhaddith ( Hadith Scholar),
and Mufti (fatwa s scholar). He said he doesnt want busy because human. It is
show his introvert character.
Abu Qasim also write, Uways also worship
to devout. Abu Qasim write, one night, Uways said: “This is “rukuk”(
piece from Prayer) night and he doing rukuk along this night. Other
night , he said , “ it is prostrate ( one piece from Prayer) night, and he doing
prostate along this night. According Abu
Qasim, Uways isolated himself from peoples after meet Caliph Umar Ibn Khattab,
until time of Caliph Ali Ibn Abi Thalib s reign ( ruled 656-661 AD). He join Battle Of Shiffin (
657 AD) with Caliph Ali Ibn Abi Thalib and die at this battle. May Allah
Subhanahuwataala bless him.
