Hallaj,  has fullname Hussain ibn Mansour al-Hallaj. According Syrian Historian, Ibn Kathir, his grandfather was adherent from Zoroastrianism, local Persian Religion. He born at 858 AD, at Tur, Iran. According Afghan Historian Tamim Ansary,  name of Hallaj originated from his job combing cotton.  Hallaj, this mean is Cotton comber. His father is cotton comber and Hallaj, at begin his life, next his father s job. One day, Hallaj has desire to united with Allah and he stopped for his job for find Sufism teacher who can teach him about Sufism.  At 16 years old, Hallaj studied to one Sufi Scholar, Sahl ibn Abdullah at Ahvaz, Iran. According Tamim Ansary, he ever stand at Kaba for 1 year without talk. After this, he doing journey to India and Central Asia, and when he go, he sing freak poet and also speak with freak sermon.  According Tamim Ansary, many people join with al-Hallaj.

According Imam Ibn Kathir, many Fuqaha ( Fiqh/Islamic law Scholar) seeing al-Hallaj is one  scholar who  liar and wizard. Because, al-Hallaj trust that Allah Subhanahuwataala stay at himself. Hallaj, went to Baghdad , Iraq, that at this era is capital from Abbasid Caliphate, for spread his teaching. He went to Shia Community leader at Baghdad and invited this man for believe to him. This leader challenge Hallaj for  grow his hair that bald. Hallaj  cannot doing it.  Not only this, according Ibn Kathir, Hallaj also confess himself as propeth.  His teaching,  denied one scholar at Baghdad,  Ibn Daud al-Ashfahani. Ibn Kathir, also write that Scholars at Baghdad considered Hallaj is infidel and he is heretic.

Many followers from Hallaj, is Shia Community at Baghdad. Hallaj, also write one book that contained freak things. At this book, written that who cannot doing Hajj ( Islamic pilgrim to Mecca ), must stay at his house and when achieve Hajj season, he must fasting for 3 day and one and doing Hajj ritual at his house. After this, he must gather 30 orphans and fuve them food, clothe, and 7 Dirham money. After this, he must doing 3 day fasting without  breaking the fast, and must break the fast at 4 TH day with leave of Andewi.  After this, he dont kust doing prayer, that became responsibility at oAnd, also at this book, written that who stay at tomb of martyr  from Tribe Of Quraish  for 10 day and doing prayer with fasting without breakfasting, only with small wheat bread, dont must worship at his life after this.

Unfortunately, Ibn Kathir doesnt informated us about this book s title. But, Qadhi ( Islamic judge) of Baghdad, Abu Amru/Abu Umar  Muhammad ibn Yusuf when trial Hallaj bring this book and he ask refrence that used by Hallaj for write this book. Hallaj said he take refrence for book of al-Ikhlas that written by Hassan al-Bashri. Abu Amru said that it is lie because Abu Amru was hear containt of book of al-Ikhlas at Mecca and dont find several things such as at Hallaj s book. Hallaj executed at  922 at Baghdad because covenant from scholars at Baghdad.
