Today, we will discuss about Adi ibn Hatim, shahaba who his past is Arabian  King from Tribe Of Tayy who convert to Islam at front of Propeth Muhammad Shallahu Alaihi Wasallam . And, at his begin life, he is man who became one Propeth Muhammad Shallahu Alaihi Wasallam s enemy. According Syrian Historian Abdurrahman Rafat Basya, Adi is Christiant king from Tribe Of Tayy, one Arabic Tribe that stay at Nejd. His father, Hatim , is King Of Tayy.  According Philip.K.Hitti, Hatim die at 605 AD. Hatim popular with his generous, and Adi, who replaced his father s goverment , also  popular with his generous and at 7 TH Century, when Propeth Muhammad Shallahu Alaihi Wasallam preach Islam at Arabia Peninsula, Adi became one Propeth Muhammad Shallahu Alaihi Wasallam s preach.  He fear lost his goverment at Nejd. He fear Propeth Muhammad Shallahu Alaihi Wasallam  s preach will destroy his kingdom.

Dont many that know about Adi ibn Hatim s life before he convert to Islam. According Abdurahman Rafat Basya, Adi hated Islam for 20 years and he hate Islam because not yet understand about Islamic Preach . It is , if his father die at 605 D and he replaced his father as king from this year, he just now know about Islam at 625 AD.  When Propeth Muhammad Shallahu Alaihi Wasallam was ruled east and west Arabia Peninsula, Adi ibn Hatim feel fear and he ask his assitant preparaed his camel for escaped from Propeth Muhammad Shallahu Alaihi Wasallam s army. At 9 Hijriyya/630 AD, Propeth Muhammad Shallahu Alaihi Wasallam ask Shahaba Ali ibn Abi Thalib lead 100 cavalries and 50 infantries This event happened until Propeth Muhammad Shallahu Alaihi Wasllam conquer City Of Mecca from Pagan Quraish at 630 AD.  And, begin, Propeth Muhammad ask Ali and his army for preach at Tribe Of Tayy for invited them convert to Islam, not for fight.  Ali invited Tribe Of Tayy for convert to Islam with soft persuation. Tribe Of Tayy challenge Ali and his army for fight.  Battle broke. According Imam Dhahabi, Ali and his army attack village that became home of Hatim s family. They also destroy Tribe Of Tayy s idol, Fuls.  Adi ibn Hatim and his wife and childrens, at this event, escaped to Syria that at this time, this natives are Christiants. Adi s sister became Muslims Army s hostage.

Adi s sister want  follow his brother to Syria. Propeth Muhammad give clothe, camel, and supplies for Adi s sister. One man from Tribe Of Tayy trusted by Propeth Muhammad to accompanied her to Syria. Adi s sister meet Adi at Syria and she ask Adi for meet Propeth Muhammad at Medina. She tell about Propeth Muhammad s kidness when she became hostage. Adi interest and he went to Medina for meet Propeth Muhammad. Adi visited Propeth Muhammad s house and they discuss at long time. Propeth Muhammad foretold about Muslim Conquest at Sassanid Empire Of Persia and at one time, Muslims People will feel security and wealthy. Adi convert to Islam at end of discussion.

And, after convert to Islam, Adi life at long time. He join Rashidun Caliphate Conquest to Sassanid Empire Of Persia during reign of Caliph Umar ibn Khattab, second caliph from Rashidun Caliphate ( ruled 634-644 AD), and life until age of Umayyad Caliphate, at era of Umar ibn Abd Aziz s Goverment(  ruled 717-720 AD), when Muslims feel security and wealthy.
