His name is Habib ibn Zayd ibn Ashim. He life at 7 TH
Century, when Propeth Muhammad Shallahu Alaihi Wasallam s preach s era.
He originated from Medina. His father is Zayd ibn Ashim, one early Muslims from
City Of Medina. His mother is Umm Imara Nusayba bint Kaab, one Propeth Muhammad
Shallahu Alaihi Wasallam s woman shahaba who fight at Battle Of Uhud 625
AD.
At 622 AD, when event of Baiat Aqaba, when
several early Muslims from Medina meet Propeth Muhammad Shallahu Alaihi
Wasallam at Mecca, Zayd ibn Ashim and Umm Imara and Habib join meet Propeth
Muhammad at Mecca and they make oath of allegiance to Propeth Muhammad Shallahu
Alaihi Wasallam. They convert to Islam at this event.
At 622 AD, also Propeth Muhammad moved to
Medina and at 624 AD, Propeth Muhammad lead Battle Of Badr againt Pagan Quraish
Army. At 625 AD, Propeth Muhammad lead Battle Of Uhud againt Pagan Quraish
Army. At Battle Of Badr and Uhud, Habib doesnt join this battle because he was
children. But, according Syrian Historian Abdurrahman Rafat Basya, at battles
next Badr and Uhud, Habib ibn Zayd join with Propeth Muhammad Shallahu
Alaihi Wasallam. He became standard
keeper at battles for Islamic Honour.
At 630 AD/9 Hijriyya, Islam became main power at Arabia Peninsula. Many
Arabian delegations meet Propeth Muhammad Shallahu Alaihi Wasallam and
convert to Islam. From them , is Tribe Of Hanifa.
Musaylama al-Kadhab, at this time, is Chief Of Bani Hanifa. He became
delegation that meet Propeth Muhammad, delegated Tribe Of Hanifa. They convert
to Islam at front of Propeth Muhammad. But, according Imam Dhahabi, when back
to Tribe Of Hanifa, Musaylama apostate and he confess as propeth. He permit liquor
for Tribe Of Hanifa and erased pray for 5 time obligation. He still confess
Propeth Muhammad as propeth. Tribe Of Hanifa follow his argument.
Propeth Muhammad ask Habib ibn Zayd for
preach Islam to Musaylama and his followers. Propeth Muhammad ask Habib send his
letter to Musaylama. This letter, contained for became part from pious people
and invitation for stop Musaylama s crime.
Habib came to Village from Tribe Of Hanifa and meet Musaylama al-Kadhab.
Musaylama ask Habib for confess himself as
propeth. Habib rejected it. Musaylama ask his warrior for kill Habib with
mutilation. Musaylama s warrior cut Habib s body part one by one and Musaylama
ask Habib confess himself as propeth. Habib reject it. And, Musaylama s warrior
still mutilated Habib until Habib die as martyr. May Allah Subhanahuwataala bless
him.
At 632 AD, Propeth Muhammad Shallahu Alaihi Wasallam deceased.
He replaced by Caliph Abu Bakr as-Shiddiq ( ruled 632-634 AD), first caliph
from Rashidun Caliphate. At this era, Musaylama confess as propeth and
opposited Rashidun Caliphate. And,
Musaylama can defeated by Rashidun Army under Commander Khalid ibn Waleed when
era of Caliph Abu Bakr s goverment.
