Muadh Ibn Jabal: One First Preacher At Islamic History.

Today, we will discuss about one shahaba who became one first Islamic Preacher at Early Islamic History. He is Muadh Ibn Jabal, one young shahaba that has big role at Islamic Preach at Yemen. Muadh born at 603 AD and he is came from Yasthrib/Medina and originated from Tribe Of Aws, one Tribe at Medina, Saudi Arabia. According Syrian Historian Abdurrahman Rafat Basya, Muadh is handsome younger at this time. He has handsome face, black eyes, and curly hair. Muadh convert to Islam after received preach from Mushab Ibn Umair, one Propeth Muhammad Shallahu Alaihi Wasallam s shahaba who became Islamic Preacher that sended to Medina. 

Muadh, went to Mecca for meet Propeth Muhammad Shallahu Alaihi Wasallam. He meet Propeth Muhammad Shallahu Alaihi Wasallam and doing oath of allegiance. After meet Propeth Muhammad Shallahu Alaihi Wasallam, he back to Medina and he can invited one officer at City Of Yasthrib  for convert to Islam, Amr Ibn Jamuh.  Amr Ibn Jamuh, is Chief From Tribe Of Salama at Yasthrib. 

When Propeth Muhammad Shallahu Alaihi Wasallam moved to City Of Medina, Muadh spend his time for studied from Rasulullah Shallahu Alaihi Wasallam.  Muadh studied Koran and Islamic Sharia, until Muadh became shahaba who most understand about how read Koran and Islamic Sharia.  Muadh also became one first  Islamic Preacher who sended to Yemen. 

At 10 Hijriyya, several kings from Yemen convert to Islam. They are Harith Ibn Abd Kulal, Nuaim Ibn Abd Kulal, Numan, Dhu Ruain, Maafir, and  also King Of Hamdan.  Propeth Muhammad Shallahu Alaihi Wasallam send two shahaba to preach at Yemen. They are Khalid Ibn Al-Walid and Ali Ibn Abi Thalib. Residents Of Hamdan,  convert to Islam because Ali Ibn Thalib s preach. 

Propeth Muhammad Shallahu Alaihi Wasallam also send Muadh Ibn Jabal for preach to Yemen. Propeth Muhammad Shallahu Alaihi Wasallam said: “ Make it easy and dont make it hard, and dont make people  away, and  equalize the sight” ( Hadith narrated by Imam Bukhari).

Muadh went to Yemen for preach and at 632 AD, he back to Medina and find Propeth Muhammad Shallahu Alaihi Wasallam was die and he so sad hear Propeth Muhammad Shallahu Alaihi Wasallam s die. When Caliph Umar Ibn Khattab became second caliph from Rashidun Caliphate who ruled 634-644 AD,  Muadh became officer who collect Zakat (  mandatory charity for Muslims)  at Tribe Of Kilab. After this, Muadh sended by Caliph Umar to Levant Territories ( now Syria, Lebanon,  Jordan, and Palestine) as Koran Teacher. Muadh  became Koran Teacher at Palestine.

Unfortunately, at 17 Hijriyya, at Levant, happened Plague of Amawas that originated from Amawas, one small territories beetwen Jerusalem and Ramallah at Palestine.  According Muslim Classic Historian, Imam Ibn Kathir, Muadh Ibn Jabal is one shahaba who die at this  plague.
