Today, we will discuss about Sayyid Ahmad Khan, one Islamic Reformer at India after ruin of Moghul Dynasty. How his struggle founded University Of Aligarh at India and started modernization at India after ruin of Moghul Dynasty? Sayyid Ahmad Khan, born at 1817 AD from one famous Muslim Family at Delhi, India. His ancestor, are main officers at Moghul Dynasty Era before ruin of Moghul Dynasty and British Colonization at India . Ahmad s father, is one officer for British Company, East India Company. His mother is Obedient Muslim Woman and he entered Sayyid Ahmad to one Madrasah ( Islamic Traditional School).  After his father s die, Sayyid Ahmad s family fall to hardness. Sayyid Ahmad stopped studied at school and he work at East India Company.

He cannot achieve high postion at  East India Company because doesnt finish his formal education.But, he read all English Literatures that he get and he also make discussion group with his Muslims Friends at India. With his friends, he make scientific discussion and with his friends, he read many literatures. And, at 1857 AD, when Indian Rebellion broke, he fight at side of British Colonization. Uniquely, he ask Muslims at India for dont rebel to British Colonization because according his mind, British Colonization dont disturb Muslims Worship. And, at 1874 AD, he travel to England. At England, his written get good attention and he  socialized with noblemens, intelectuals, and aristocrats And, at this enviroment, he still defend Islamic Fashion style. He used Islamic robe, cap, and also has beard. According Afghan Historian Tamim Ansary, Sayyid Ahmad Khan looked as honoured man at Mughal Dynasty Era. And, he also meet with Queen Of England, Queen Victoria who give him titled “Starfriend from India”. And, it is make he mentioned himself as Sayyid Ahmad Khan.

One day, at England, he seeing several Britishmens write biography that mocked Propeth Muhammad Shallahu Alaihi Wasallam. Sayyid Ahmad Khan surprised. He tried to write biography about Propeth Muhammad Shallahu Alaihi Wasallam for answer biography that written by several Britishmens. Because his targets is Europeans Public, he paid translatter to translate his written to English, French, and German. But, Sayyid Ahmad Khan doesnt has enough money for finish this. He back to India with poor situation.

After back from England, Sir Sayyid Ahmad Khan tried to developed study club that was he found before went to England , scientific society at City Of Aligarh, India. This study club develop to University Of Aligarh. Sayyid Ahmad Khan tried to translatted several main books from western culture to Urdu and Persia Language. Many students entered to University Of Aligarh. And, many Indian Scholars criticize Sayyid Ahmad s step. Though this, according Tamim Ansary, students from this university have big role at State Of Pakistan s establishment.

According Tamim Ansary, Sayyid Ahmad Khan has unique mind. He think that Muslims Society retreat because their blind faith to mythology and magic mind. Sayyid Ahmad think that Muslims must used rational mind at their faith for avoid mythology and magic minds.  And, according Sayyid Ahmad s mind, Good Muslims doesnt only they who only pray and read Koran ( Islamic Holy Book) at long time. But, Good Muslims are they who have good attitude at society and they who develop their skills with patient. Sayyid Ahmad Khan die at Aligarh, India at1898 AD. May Allah Subhanahuwataala bless him.
