Story Of Thufayl ibn Amr ad-Dausi: Pagan Poet who convert to Islam because Propeth Muhammad Shallahu Alaihi Wasallam s Preach.

Today, we will discuss about Thufayl ibn Amr, Pagan Poet who convert to Islam because preach of Propeth Muhammad Shallahu Alaihi Wasallam and became Islam Defender until end of his life. Thufayl ibn Amr is one Pagan poet and nobleman who came to   Mecca. He is man with big influence at his tribe, Daus .  He life at 7 TH Century and one day, several Pagan Quraish  people at Mecca meet him and said for avoid from Propeth Muhammad Shallahu Alaihi Wasallam s preach. Pagan Quraish s people provocated Thufayl ibn Amr for avoid Propeth Muhammad Shallahu Alaihi Wasallam until Thufayl doesnt entered mosque that Propeth Muhammad Shallahu Alaihi Wasallam here, without close his ear.  Unti, one day, Thufayl entered mosque and find Propeth Muhammad Shallahu Alaihi Wasallam doing pray. He seeing how Propeth Muhammad Shallahu Alaihi Wasallam pray and he feel  impressed with propeth s pray. And, after this, Thufayl discuss with Propeth Muhammad about Islam and he interest to Islam.

Because his interest,Thufayl conver to Islam and he said to propeth he want invited his tribe, Daus for convert to Islam. Thufayl, back to his territories, territories from Tribe Of Daus. And, he meet his wife and his father. He can invited his wife and his father for convert to Islam. Thufayl teach Islam to his wife and also preach at Tribe Of Daus. Not easy preach to Tribe Of Daus. Because, Tribe Of Daus at this time full of sin. And, one man from Tribe Of Daus, Abu Hurayra and tomorrow, Abu Hurayra will be one first Hadith Scholar at Islamic History. After preach to Daus s people, Thufayl meet Propeth Muhammad Shallahu Alaihi Wasallam and tell about Tribe Of Daus s condition. Propeth Muhammad prepared to pray and he raise his hand. Abu Hurayra fear that Propeth Muhammad will pray destroyed to Tribe Of Daus and Abu Hurayra ask Propeth Muhammad to pity Tribe Of Daus. And, really, Propeth Muhammad Shallahu Alaihi Wasallam pray may Allah Subhanahuwataala give guidance to Tribe Of Daus. And, Propeth Muhammad ask Thufayl for back to Tribe Of Daus.  Thufayl back to Tribe Of Daus. He preach at his tribe. Propeth Muhammad ask him to preach with soft.  At 622 AD, Propeth Muhammad Shallahu Alaihi Wasallam moved from Mecca to Medina and Thufayl next his preach at Tribe Of Daus.

Until, one day, Thufayl meet Propeth Muhammad Shallahu Alaihi Wasallam with 80 peoples from Tribe Of Daus  who was convert to Islam. Thufayl ask Propeth Muhammad Shallahu Alaihi Wasallam make him and 80 people from Daus Tribe right fleet army at all battle for defend Islam Honour. Thufayl stay with Propeth Muhammad Shallahu Alaihi Wasallam until Propeth Muhammad and Islamic Forces conquer Mecca from Pagan Quraish at 630 AD.

Thufayl still assisted Propeth Muhammad until propeth die at 632 AD and replaced by Caliph Abu Bakr as-Shiddiq, first caliph from Rashidun Caliphate ( ruled 632-634 AD)and he fightat Rashidun Army that attack apostate rebels at Yamama under Musaylama al-Kadhab when era of Caliph Abu Bakr as-Shiddiq . This battle winned by Rashidun Caliphate, and Thufayl die as martyr at this battle. May Allah Subhanahuwataala bless him.
