Shagatir, life at 7 TH Century. Historian Jihad at-Turbani doesnt tell about his birth and his childhood. He is great bishop at Byzantine Empire at age of Emperor Heraclius. Important for know, Heraclius is one Byzantine Emperor who at his young age is one priest. 608 AD, became one important age for Heraclius. Heraclius is son from Byzantine Governor at Africa, Heraclius Senior. And, at 608 AD, Byzantine Empire faced chaotic era, because Byzantine Emperor, Phocas ruled with hard goverment. And, Phocas s son in law, Priscos, write letter to Heraclius Senior for doing coup.

Heraclius, at this time , was achieve 35 years old, sended by Heraclius Senior for doing coup. Heraclius bring one navy and also army from Tribe Of Amazigh, one tribe at North Africa. Heraclius s cousin, Nicetas tried to captured Egypt and Syria from Phocas. Heraclius , can achieve Byzantine Empire Capital, Conctantinople, at October 610 AD. Heraclius and his army that consist of Libyan Cavalry can captured Constantinople and Heraclius became new Byzantine Empire. Shagatir, became great bishop at era of Emperor Heraclius.

Until, at 627 AD, Heraclius can defend Constantinople from Sassanid Invasion. According Historian Juan Cole, Propeth Muhammad Shallahu Alaihi Wasallam interest to make alliance with Emperor Heraclius. At 7 Th years Of Hijriyya ( circa 629 AD), Propeth Muhammad Shallahu Alaihi Wasallam send letter to Emperor Heraclius for invited him convert to Islam. Propeth Muhammad send letter to Heraclius by his messenger, Dihya al-Kalbi. At this time, Heraclius celebrated his victory againt Persian Army. Dihya give letter to Byzantine Governor at Bostra, Syria and Governor Of Bostra give this letter to Emperor Heraclius.

At this time, one Propeth Muhammad Shallahu Alaihi Wasallam s enemy, Abu Sufyan and several Quraish People doing trade at Syria. Emperor Heraclius invited Abu Sufyan who is Propeth Muhammad s relatives to Jerusalem, Palestine that at this time under Byzantine Empire s territories to meet him.

Abu Sufyan and Emperor Heraclius dicussed about Propeth Muhammad s character. Abu Sufyan tell Emperor Heraclius about Propeth Muhammad Shallahu Alaihi Wasallam s character and he ask Abu Sufyan read Propeth Muhammad s letter from him. This letter, contained invitation for convert to Islam. Heraclius, at this time, ever feel trust Propeth Muhammad Shallahu Alaihi Wasallam because he trust Propeth Muhammad s character same with character about propeth that predicted at remnant of Bible. He said to Dihya, Propeth s messenger who also present at front of Heraclius, he trust about Propeth Muhammad s propechy, but he fear killed by his nations because convert to Islam. Heraclius ask Dihya meet Bishop Shaghatir. Dihya meet Bishop Shaghatir and give this letter. Bishop Shaghatir convert to Islam at this time. And, he trust about Propeth Muhammad s propechy. He replaced his black clothe with white clothe and meet several Byzantine People at curch for invited them convert to Islam. At this trial , he die because attacked by people at curch who angry with his step. He die before meet Propeth Muhammad Shallahu Alaihi Wasallam. May Allah Subhanahuwataala bless him.
