Story Of Ulayyan : Crazy Man who used food recipe for advice.

Today, we will discuss about Ulayyan ibn Badr al-Majnun, crazy man who used food recipe as advice. His biography so unique and he is one unique crazy man at this age. His fullname is Abu al-Hassan Ulayyan ibn Badr. And, titled by al-Majnun ( Arabic: the crazy). He originated from Kufa, Iraq  and he life when Abbasid Dynasty era, circa 9 TH Century. According Persian Historian Abu Qasim al-Naisaburi,  Ulayyan is straight Shia adherent. He doesnt priorizting Ali ibn Abi Thalib above other shahaba, such as Abu Bakr as-Shiddiq.

Abu Qasim, tell unique story about Ulayyan. One day, Ulayyan sit at one backing  powder at Kufa and keep his stick. Several childrens gather at this place and mock Ulayyan. When Ulayyan disturb by them, he will said to backing powder seller : “The war condition is wild, and so beautiful the meeting. I  notice your condition, , what your notice”?. After this, Ulayyan drive out the childrens with his stick. And, when Ulayyan doing fool  to them, they run from Ulayyan. Ali ibn Zhabiyan, one eyewitne that quoted by Abu Qasim, said one day he went to Kufa for one bussiness. And, he meet Ulayyan who keep Persian stick . At Ulayyan s head, are cotton and patch. Ulayyan attack childrens that he meet.

One day , at Ulayyan went to Mecca, Meccan Childrens hit him and one worse man stab him. Ulayyan s bloods fall at land and shaped word of Allah at 19 places at Mecca. It is one unique story from this man that considered crazy at this place.

One day, at Kufa, Ulayyan stand in front of doctor and laught. Atha as-Silmi, one man who seeing this and he ask question to Ulayyan. About why Ulayyan laught. Ulayyan said: “This man ( doctor) heal the other man, but he sick”. This doctor ask: “Are you know my disease s medicine”?. Ulayyan said: “Yes, one drink that if he drink it, he will healty. Take leave of poverty, wine of patient, terminalia of humbleness, bellerica of knowledge and mushroom of think. Pound this at mortar of regret.Put it at grail of piery. Turn firewood of love under him until foamy.  Pour it to grail of bless and cool it with freshness of grateful. Serve it at grail of think and stir it with spoon of istighfar, you dont back to mistake againt”.

This doctor fainted and die. Atha, meet Ulayyan when Thawwaf ( ritual around Kaba at Mecca for Muslims when pilgrin) and said to Ulayyan: “You advise man and kill him”. Ulayyan said: “I  revive him”.  And, three day after this doctor s die, Atha dream t his sleep meet this doctor that wear turban and robe and he tell Atha that he was at paradise.

One day, Ulayyan and other crazy man, Buhlul meet Caliph Musa Athbiq  al-Hadi , Abbasid Caliph . al-Hadi, is brother from Abbasid biggest caliph, Harun al-Rashid. Al-Hadi ruled from 785-786 AD. Caliph ask question: “What mean of  name Ulayyan”?. Ulayyan ask question: “What mean of name Musa Athbiq”?. Caliph al-Hadi angry and threat to cut Ulayyan s foot.  Ulayyan only said: “take it ( foor) for you, because  we ( Ulayyan and Buhlul) . Abu Qasim, doesnt write when Ulayyan s die.  Ulayyan is example for man who considered as crazyman, but has unique method for give advice.
