Full Story: Battle of Uhud: Why Muslims Army defeated At This Battle?

Today, we will discuss about Battle of Uhud at 625 AD, and why Muslims Army defeated at this second battle after Battle of Badr?. At Battle of Badr 624 AD, Pagan Quraish Army who want attack Medina, defeated by Muslims Army that lead by Propeth Muhammad Shallahu Alaihi Wasallam and Pagan Quraish will reply their defeat with fight againt Propeth Muhammad Shallahu Alaihi Wasallam . FULL STORY: Chronology from Battle of Badr

According az-Zuhri, such as quoted by Imam Dhahabi, Pagan Quraish Army at this battle numbered 3000 mens. Abu Sufyan, became commander from this Pagan Quraish Army. Quraish right flight lead by Commander Khalid ibn Waleed ( at this time not yet convert to Islam) . Quraish left flight lead by Commander Ikrima ibn Abu Jahal ( at this time not yet convert to Islam).  According Imam Dhahabi, Propeth Muhammad s arm, numbered several thousand mens.  Propeth Muhammad gater his shahabas at war council . Propeth Muhammad Shallahu Alaihi Wasallam argue that should Muslims Army defend at Medina. But, several shahabas who dont join Battle of Badr ask Propeth Muhammad attack Pagan Quraish Army at open battle. Propeth Muhammad agree and he went with his army for fight againt Pagan Quraish Army at Uhud. Pagan Quraish Army, at this battle, helped by Tribe of Kinana and Warriors from Tihama.

At voyage to Uhud, 300  Muslims Army under Abdullah ibn Ubay retreat, and Muslims Army , with this retreatment, only 700 mens. Muslims Army, at right flight, lead by Ali ibn Abi Thalib, left flight lead by Mundhir ibn Amr as-Sady. Muslims Infantry lead by Zubayr ibn Awwam. Main army lead by Hamza ibn Abd Mutthalib. And , Muslims Army s flag keep by Mushab ibn Umayr.  Such as Battle of Badr,  battle started by duel one by one.  Started by one Pagan Warrior challenge Muslims to duel and Zubayr ibn Awwam attack this man until this warrior fall from his camel.

Propeth Muhammad, also bring 50 archers under Abdullah ibn Jubayr ( different with Abdullah ibn Zubayr). They have duty for pretend Pagan Quraish Cavalry attack Muslim s Army s line. After due, battle broke. Muslims Army  breaking through to Pagan Quraish Army. At first round, Pagan Quraish Army defeated and many assets that leaved by Pagan Quraish Army. Pagan Quraish Army defeated until 50 archers that placed by Propeth Muhammad at one post, down from post and plunder loots. Pagan Quraish Army attack Muslims Army at this chance. And, now, Muslims Army forced.  Propeth Muhammad besieged by enemy. Several shahabas protect Propeth Muhammad Shallahu Alaihi Wasallam. From them Thalha ibn Ubaydilla. Thalha fight for protect Propeth Muhammad Shallahu Alaihi Wasallam until his fingers cut.  First Islamic Preacher, Mushab ibn Umayr also die when protect Propeth Muhammad Shallahu Alaihi Wasallam. Propeth Muhammad also fight with his bow and throw enemy with rocks. At this time, Propeth Muhammad injured at his face and his incisors  broken. Muslims Army defeated at this battle.  70 Muslim Warriors die at this battle.

Abu Sufyan feel  self confident and he want attack Muslims Army. Propeth Muhammad dont give up. With 70 army, he doing chased to Pagan Quraish Army. Pagan Quraish Army, cancel their plan for attack Propeth Muhammad after Battle of Uhud.
