Saad ibn Abi Waqqash also became pioneer from building City Of Kufa, Iraq. After conquest Ctesiphon/Madain, Saad and several shahabas moved to Desert Of Kufa at Iraq for build new city. According Syrian Historian, Imam Ibn Kathir, many shahabas sick malaria at Ctesiphon. Saad ibn Abi Waqqash, bring his army and also bring two shahabas: Hudhayfa ibn al-Yaman and Salman ibn Ziyad when moved to Desert Of Kufa. It is happened at 17 Hijriyya.

When achieve Desert Of Kufa and seeing desert with small rock and red sand. Saad ask his warriors for build camp at this place. Saad and his army  also build mosque at this place. They also build several wood house. And, their houses burned. Caliph Umar ibn Khattab ask them build houses with bricks.  Saad, became Mayor Of Kufa.

At 20 Hijriyya, Saad get problem.  When Muslims Army prepared to fight againt Persian Army at Battle Of Nihavand at 642 AD, one civilian from Kufa, al-Jira ibn Sinan slander that  Saad doesnt doing prayer with right. With al-Jira, also join several people, such as Abu Sada Usama ibn Qatada.  Caliph Umar ibn Khattab, send Muhammad ibn Maslama who at this time is messenger for Rashidun Caliphate s Governors for search about this news.  Muhammad ibn Maslama seeing all villages at Kufa , and he find all civilians at Kufa praised Saad ibn Abi Waqqash. Until Muhammad ibn Maslama meet Abu Sada Usama ibn Qatada. Abu Sada said that Saad doesnt fair when divide rampage. Doesnt fair with his people, and doesnt fight at battle with his army. Saad hear this and pray  badness for Abu Sada. He pray Abu Sada blind and fall to false lust. Until, he blind and he love  tempt women.  Saad also pray badness to al-Jira and his supporters.  And, after this, al-Jira and his followers get disease at their body and their assets destroyed.

According Imam Dhahabi, Abu Sada Usama life until old year and he  get freak addition. He tempt women at road. And, when people as Abu Sada about his situation, Abu Sada said : “I old man that caught slander. I caught Saad s pray.”

At era of Goverment Ali ibn Abi Thalib , fourth caliph from Rashidun Caliphate ( ruled 656-661 AD), happened Rashidun Caliphate s civil war. It is first bloody clash beetwen Muslims Society.  At 656 AD, happened Battle Of Jamal beetwen Ali and opposition  from Umm al Mukminin Aisha, widow from Propeth Muhammad Shallahu Alaihi Wasallam and her supporter that won by Ali s army. At 657 AD,  broke Battle of Shiffin beetwen Ali and Syrian Army under Governor Of Syria, Muawiya ibn Abi Sufyan.  According Syrian Historian Ibn Kathir, at this age, Saad  isolate himself.  According Ibn Kathir, Saad isolate himself out of City Of Medina.  His son, Amir ibn Saad, ask question  why his father choose to himself. Saad said that he doesnt want  became leader at chaos age.

According Imam Dhahabi, Saad ibn Abi Waqqash narrated many Hadiths ( Islamic oral traditions from Propeth Muhammad Shallahu Alaihi Wasallam ). 15 Hadiths that he narrated recorded at Shahihain ( Book of Shahih Bukhari and Shahih Muslim) .  According Imam Dhahabi, Saad die beetwen 55-57 Hijriyya. He ask shrouded with clothe that he wear at Battle Of Badr. May Allah Subhanahuwataala bless him.
