Nuaym ibn Masoud: Unexpected Agent At Battle of Khandaq 627 AD

Nuaym ibn Masoud , originated from Nejd, from Tribe of Gathafan. He life at 7 TH Century at Nejd Desert. And, he often socialized with Jewishs at Medina. And, when Propeth Muhammad Shallahu Alaihi Wasallam preach Islam, Nuaym ibn Masoud became enemy from Propeth Muhammad Shallahu Alaihi Wasallam . And, when Battle of Khandaq at 627 AD, Nuaym ibn Masoud join Pagan Coalition at Battle of Khandaq that want attack Medina, Propeth Muhammad Shallahu Alaihi Wasallam s goverment s basic.

According Imam Dhahabi, this Pagan Coalition s army numbered dozen  thousands warriors from many tribes. Such as Tribe of Gathafan, Sulaym, Ashja, Asad, and Murrah. Commander from this coalition, is Abu Sufyan ibn Harb  who at this time not yet convert to Islam. At this time, Muslims Army at Medina under Propeth Muhammad Shallahu Alaihi Wasallam only numbered 300.000 warriors. And, Jewish Society s leader at Medina such as Salam ibn Abu Huqayq , Huyay ibn Akhtab, Kinana ibn Rabi, and other , support this coalition.

Propeth Muhammad Shallahu Alaihi Wasallam and his army dig a trench at Medina for defend Medina from Pagan Coalition.  They take basic at Mounth of Silun. Pagan Quraish and his coalitions besieged Medina until not enough food at Medina . Nuaym ibn Masoud, one night , think and feel that Propeth Muhammad Shallahu Alaihi Wasallam fight at true side. And, he came to Propeth Muhammad Shallahu Alaihi Wasallam at this night. In front of propeth, he convert to Islam and he said to Propeth Muhammad Shallahu Alaihi Wasallam he will ready received command from Propeth Muhammad Shallahu Alaihi Wasallam . Propeth Muhammad assign  him for went to Pagan Army Coalition for make intric at this coalition. And, Nuaym went to Pagan Army Coalition s basic.  He will make intric for destroy Pagan Coalition lines.

Nuaym ibn Masoud went to Tribe of Quraydha, one Jewish Tribe at Medina who beside Pagan Army Coalition. Nuaym said to them for leave Pagan Quraish and his coalition. And, he said , if Pagan Army Coalition defeated, Tribe of Quraydha will get replies from Propeth Muhammad Shallahu Alaihi Wasallam. And, they leave Pagan Quraish Coalition. Nuaym came to Pagan Quraysh Coalition and said to Commander Abu Sufyan that Tribe of Quraydha was not became Propeth Muhammad Shallahu Alaihi Wasallam  s enemy. And ,  Abu Sufyan make decision to retreat from battle.  And, Nuaym also invited his tribe army, Tribe of Gathafan, for dont fight againt Propeth Muhammad Shallahu Alaihi Wasallam.

After this moment, came tornado and cold air that make Pagan Quraish forced to retreat because their camp destroyed. And, they defeated. Since this moment, Propeth Muhammad Shallahu Alaihi Wasallam make Nuaym as standard keeper. At Conquest of Mecca 630 AD, Nuaym became standard keeper from Ghatafan Tribal s Army that join at Muslims Army under Propeth Muhammad Shallahu Alaihi Wasallam.
